Questflow, a platform designed to orchestrate AI agents for the emerging multi-agent economy, has secured $6.5 million in seed funding. The round was led by CyberFund, with participation from Delphi Labs, Systemic Ventures, Eden Block, White Star Capital, Web3.com, Animoca Brands, HashKey Capital, Wagmi Ventures, ElizaOS, the Tezos Foundation, and CatcherVC. The company also received grants from Aptos, Coinbase Developer Platform, and Virtuals Protocol.
The company’s mission is to create a fully automated AI workforce capable of operating 24/7 on-chain for individuals and businesses while maintaining human oversight for essential decisions.
Multi-Agent Orchestration Protocol: Coordinating AI on Chain
Questflow’s core technology, the Multi-Agent Orchestration Protocol (MAOP), enables AI agents to communicate, collaborate, and execute tasks on-chain in real time. It moves beyond the limitations of isolated AI systems by allowing multiple agents to work together efficiently, all while keeping human control over critical actions.
“Our vision is to build an AI agent economy that serves any workflow,” said Bob Xu, co-founder and CEO of Questflow. “From small businesses to large enterprises, people need an AI workforce that is always active, transparent, and adaptable.”
Breaking Silos with Task and Token Orchestration
Most AI agents today are siloed and lack connectivity to blockchain networks. Questflow addresses this through two orchestration models.
Task orchestration allows AI swarms to handle complex, multi-step workflows across Web2 tools such as Google Workspace, Airtable, and Notion, as well as Web3 dApps and protocols.
Token orchestration gives each AI agent its own on-chain wallet, enabling real-time micropayments and direct agent-to-agent transactions, turning AI into active participants in the digital economy.
Early Adoption and Expanding Ecosystem
Questflow has already achieved significant traction, earning recognition from a16z, Cohere, and MongoDB. It was selected for the Google for Startups program and was named Product of the Day on Product Hunt.
The company continues to build a robust partner ecosystem that includes Google, Coinbase Developer Platform, Circle, Aptos, Near, CoinGecko, and Jambo Phone, bridging both Web2 and Web3 environments for seamless agent integration.
The AI Workforce Flywheel
Questflow is driving growth through an on-chain flywheel with four interconnected phases:
- Create – Developers and creators can design, deploy, and monetize AI swarms using a no-code editor and SDK, each tied to an on-chain wallet for identity and revenue.
- Use – End users can deploy swarms to automate workflows, while maintaining oversight of sensitive actions.
- Pay – Real-time, transparent micropayments ensure instant compensation for AI agents’ work.
- Tokenize – Communities can launch and govern AI swarms via tokenization, encouraging shared ownership and participation.
“Providing every agent with a wallet is only step one,” Xu added. “The real impact comes when agents can collaborate, earn, and transact autonomously, creating a self-sustaining AI workforce economy.”
Scaling the Next Wave of AI Collaboration
With fresh funding, Questflow plans to enhance orchestration capabilities, introduce ecosystem incentives, and open the MAOP protocol to developers and partners for diverse real-world applications.
As AI and blockchain converge, Questflow is positioned to unify disconnected AI systems and enable anyone to deploy an on-chain AI workforce that operates with the reliability of software and the adaptability of human teams.
By enabling open creation, coordination, and monetization of AI agents, Questflow is laying the foundation for a decentralized AI Agent Economy where intelligent agents collaborate, transact, and generate value autonomously.
